Job description
Position Title: Junior Designer Eyewear
Hybrid : 420 5th Ave New York office 3 days a week
Work Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: $22.60 /hr on W2 Paid Weekly!

The Junior Designer will be charged with supporting Coach, MK, RLG and Tory brands in completing collection work; this includes close collaboration with lead designers and N.A. product strategy teams.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficiency in generating fully detailed color CAD renderings for color review of eyewear collections based on the specifications set per licensor requests.
- Assist N.A. lead designers & strategy teams in conceptualizing color and material direction for collections.
- Researches domestic and competitive markets to identify new products and market trends while maintaining brand identity and business strategy.
- Support explorative development of materials and techniques in collaboration with lead designer, product strategy and Italy teams.
- Through on-the-job training with N.A. and Italy teams, become proficient in technical limitations and specifications of eyewear.
- Opportunity to assist brands in needed collection sketch development & special company-wide design projects.
- Executes to timelines and provides timely solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree of Design from accredited college or university required.
- Minimum 6 months of design experience in Eyewear or Accessories; including intern or temp work
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; other Adobe programs a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with 3D Design Software a plus.
