Electronics Technician
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Pay Rate: $27-28
Schedule: M-F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Contract: Initial duration through 2/24/2027 with possibility of extension
Targeted Start Date: 9/14
Overview:
- Checks that equipment is in correct inventory bin within ERP system. Starts, tests, replaces or repairs electrical/electronic and mechanical components in various scanners, document readers, cameras and other peripheral equipment.
- Quality Check: Verifies serial number if serialized. Starts device in accordance with procedures for device activation and shutdown. Performs analysis on devices for functionality
- Repair: Replaces or repairs non-functioning parts to a refurbished state. Once repaired, moves to appropriate bin in ERP and places device on service shelf.
- Other duties as assigned: Maintains company-required inventory, performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- May be asked to perform work in other functional areas, clean and organize the work area and take on additional duties as assigned.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and refers more complex issues to more experienced staff.
- Possesses working knowledge of subject matter.
Experience and Education:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and focused work habits.
- Must be able to work extended periods of standing and frequent lifting from 5 pounds up to 30 pounds.
- Must have exposure to basic electronic testing and repairs and be mechanically inclined.
- Basic computer knowledge required, including data entry, use of email, Excel and Teams.
- A 24-year degree or certification is a huge plus.
- ERP knowledge is preferred.
