This role supports the AURORA initiative and serves as a key liaison between commercial brand teams, Medical Affairs, agency partners, content operations, and technical teams. The primary focus is to improve content intake, creation, review, approval, and digital activation processes.
The Business Analyst will collaborate with Business Product Managers, Activation Leads, and IT/Roche Digital Technology (RDT) engineers to drive requirements discovery, process optimization, functional specifications, backlog management, testing, and implementation.
Two Business Analyst positions are available, each with a specialized focus:
  • Workfront & Process Implementation: Focus on Adobe Workfront implementation, workflow design, intake processes, request forms, and approval workflows.
  • Medical Content Governance & UAT: Focus on medical content operations, review and approval governance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Requirements & Process Analysis
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder discussions, workshops, use cases, and process mapping.
  • Translate content management and omnichannel campaign workflows into functional requirements and business rules.

  • Define content operating models, roles, responsibilities, approval processes, workflow templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate operational requirements into Adobe Workfront configurations and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, solution demonstrations, and backlog refinement sessions.
2. Solution Validation & Delivery
  • Partner with IT and RDT teams to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking through Jira or similar tools.
  • Lead UAT planning and execution, including test case development, business tester coordination, defect tracking, and validation.
  • Coordinate business approvals, release readiness, and deployment activities.
  • Monitor operational KPIs such as content approval timelines, rework rates, and user adoption.
  • Develop training materials and support deployment, change management, and post-launch adoption.
3. Data & Analytics Integration
  • Analyze campaign operations data, data flows, and content metadata to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Understand data schemas and integrations between content management platforms and reporting systems.
  • Support measurement frameworks connecting digital engagement and channel execution with business outcomes.

  • Workflow Automation: Adobe Workfront intake processes, request forms, workflow templates, approval mechanisms, and integrations across business and agency teams.
  • Content Governance: Compliance requirements, risk-based approval routing, metadata management, and standardized content operations.
Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Operations Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Consultant.
  • Experience supporting enterprise content management, workflow transformation, or digital engagement initiatives, preferably within life sciences or healthcare.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements, conducting stakeholder discussions, documenting functional specifications, and designing future-state business processes.
