Job description
Responsibilities:
Required Recent Experience / Knowledge:
- Total responsibility for all projects including automated test systems, TPSs, and simulators.
- Provides project estimates during proposal phase
- Manages projects from inception to on-time delivery and then manages sustainment
- Responsible for all facets of Systems Division expenditures, purchase orders, cost containment, efficient Use of resources, and on-budget completion of projects.
- Responsible for Systems Division personnel resources. Recommends salaries and other financial incentive to COO. Responsible for adequate resources required to complete Projects on time.
- Manages project managers on all facets of a respective Project. Supplements project managers.
- Final technical authority for all Systems Division Engineering related issues. Actively participates in design reviews and approves system design and configuration for all projects Managed by Project managers.
- Responsible for timely deliveries of all contractual Obligations of the Systems Division.
- Handles all customer-related communications - from project inception through post-delivery.
- Assists management with sales and Marketing efforts.
- Provides periodic project status reports to corporate Management.
- Additional tasks assigned by COO.
Required Recent Experience / Knowledge:
- strong hands on experience in: • Test methodologies and test software development. • Analog, Digital, mixed-signal processing, control systems, sensors, Microprocessors, microcontrollers, DSP, and PLDs, FPGAs. • Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and Projects • Schematic capture using tools like: OrCAD, Altium, PSpice, and Verilog, PCB design and testing
- Solid time management skills and demonstrated efficiency in providing engineering support on multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to motivate and develop professionals to achieve their highest proficiency
