Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
- Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality designs.
- Support projects from concept through design development and construction documentation.
- Review drawings and calculations for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of structural engineering experience.
- EIT certification required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience designing and detailing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes and design standards, including IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
