Job description
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer for assignment in Hillsboro, Oregon. The selected candidate will be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing advanced facilities such as semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers, and similar state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Hillsboro
This position requires either a Professional Engineer License (PE) or Structural Engineer License (SE)
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and technical studies that support client decision making
- Oversee the production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure and equipment
- Work across all phases of design and continue supporting projects through construction and post construction client engagement
- Participate in presentations, attend client meetings, conduct existing site analysis and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with clients and subcontractors
- Site visits
- Review of submittals and RFIs
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering
- Either a Professional Engineer License (PE) or a Structural Engineer License (SE)
- 2+ years experience in Structural Design, both steel and concrete
- Proficient with STAAD or other analysis software
- Experience with Revit is a plus
