Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, designing, and managing all mechanical design of complex projects in the pharmaceutical and laboratory facility design field, with strong clean room design experience.
  • Experience in the design of Cell & Gene and Biotherapy facilities is a plus.
  • Weekly reporting to individual project managers on project status, budget, and schedule
  • Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings.
  • Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes and cGMP standards.
  • Develop proposals and client presentations.
  • Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE License
  • 10 to 15 years' experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers
  • Ability to set priorities, to be self-disciplined and consistent.
  • Ability to muti-task between different project assignments
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360
