Salary expectations: 90,000-102,000 per annual
Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process with the objective to improve quality and reduce lead time on tooling construction
Job Responsibilities:
- RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.
- Foundry Engineer Experience- Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process
- Foundry tooling Design Experience- Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process
- Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast
Requirements
Education Requirements:
- Associate's OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years' relevant experience.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong CAD skills (Creo prefers).
- Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
- Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers)

Soft Skills:
- Able to work with and direct suppliers on Tooling Build Projects
- Communicate and work well with all levels of the facility.
