Salary: $ 107,500.00

We have partnered with a large Industrial Machinery Manufacturing company in the Butte, MT area to provide them with a Senior Electro Mechanical Engineer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Electro Mechanical Engineer:

#1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or closely related field

#2. Ten or more years of hands-on electromechanical design experience

#3. Proven experience owning product development from concept through manufacturing

#4. Strong systems integration experience across mechanical and electrical domains

#5. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks, CAD-based design and ANSYS.

Responsibilities of the Senior Electro Mechanical Engineer:
  • Own end-to-end design and development of advanced industrial equipment from concept through commercialization.
  • Define system architecture and perform electromechanical and machine design.
  • Lead or support prototyping, testing, validation, and technical investigations.
  • Develop product requirements, specifications, analyses, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure designs are production-ready with strong Design for Manufacturing (DFM) focus.
  • Integrate mechanical and electrical systems throughout product development.
  • Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary engineering teams and assigned projects.

Requirements of the Senior Electro Mechanical Engineer:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline; ABET accredited preferred.
  • 10+ years of electromechanical, mechanical design, machine design, or product development experience.
  • Strong experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Exceptional electromechanical/machine design capabilities with strong CAD, CAE skills and ANSYS.
  • Deep understanding of electronic theory and electrical testing principles.
  • Proven experience developing prototype, pre-commercial, and production-ready products.
  • Strong Design for Manufacturing and product development experience.
  • Experience with complex industrial equipment or products for manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Strong technical leadership, judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technically demanding product development and manufacturing environment.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
