Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer will monitor and audit all departments to ensure company products are meeting or exceeding the quality requirements of our vendors and customers.

Accountabilities:
- Drive all APQP and PPAP activities for assigned customers.
- Ensure appropriate containment of suspect and nonconforming product.
- Issue Material Complaint Notices (MCNs) to suppliers.
- Partner with Research and Development on problem-solving activities.
- Provide input and support for customer audits.
- Support new product launches.
- Support the maintenance of IATF 16949 certification requirements.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and replication efforts.
- Comply with all internal processes and policies, including applicable environmental and safety protocols.
- Conduct tier-internal assessments and internal audits.
- Develop and improve internal processes to support quality objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PC-DMIS and CMM-related programming.
- Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to learn and use vendor and customer software applications.
- Ability to make sound decisions with significant business impact.
- ASQ certification and/or ISO auditor certification preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
