Position Overview
Motivated CW Engineer to support manufacturing facility projects related to equipment design, installation, and process improvements. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are achieved.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, project management, technical drawing review, and coordinating with contractors and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop scopes of work, bid packages, and project specifications.
- Review technical drawings, provide engineering feedback, and negotiate design changes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety codes and standards.
- Partner with third-party safety compliance contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and affiliate companies to execute projects and meet milestones.
- Supervise contractors in both greenfield and brownfield manufacturing environments.
- Coordinate equipment installations with skilled trades and project teams.
- Identify project risks and develop countermeasures to prevent schedule delays.
- Support equipment design, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reading and reviewing technical drawings.
- Experience leading projects, supervising contractors, or managing skilled trades personnel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience developing bid specifications and negotiating with contractors.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Previous Toyota project management experience.
- Automotive paint process experience.
- Ability to understand and calculate utility costs.
- Experience working in automotive manufacturing or industrial facility projects.

- Technical drawing review and interpretation (2+ years)
- Project management experience in manufacturing
- Leadership or management experience within skilled trades or industrial environments
