Position Summary: A Licensed Engineer who uses experience to perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all aspects of engineering design for large and complex projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in the design of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, cooling, exhaust, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings
- Knowledgeable in the design of plumbing systems including gas, potable water, sanitary, sewer, fire suppression, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings.
- Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
- Relies on experience and judgement for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
- Produces high quality, accurate, and consistent drawings.
- Collects and prepares data/information and performs engineering calculations. Develops technical specifications and data sheets.
- Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFI's.
- Assists in field work. Available to travel, as needed, dependent upon specific project assignments. 15% of time reserved for travel.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college or university.
- 8+ years experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Revit proficiency, required.
