The Role: What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain exposure to diverse projects and support our team through:
- Design & Drafting: Assist with the development of mechanical plans and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Systems Layout: Support heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing system layouts and equipment selection.
- Technical Support: Assist engineers with calculations, specifications, technical reports, and project deliverables.
- Field Investigation: Participate in site visits to observe how mechanical systems are installed and operated in active facilities.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside licensed Professional Engineers and team members across engineering, architecture, and planning.
What You'll Bring
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering (sophomore level or higher preferred).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mindset: A collaborative attitude, willingness to ask questions, and a strong interest in consulting engineering.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications (The Nice-to-Haves)
- Coursework or prior project experience related to HVAC, plumbing, or building systems.
- Prior exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
