We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and leading a team to maintain and
improve quality standards.
- Leading new product development for electrical equipment (Control Panels and Switchboards) Engineer innovative design concepts utilizing CREO/Solid works.
- Create multiple design concepts & perform trade-off studies of those concepts to determine the optimal solutions.
- Being able to navigate through the unknown and actively seek out new knowledge to apply to projects.
- Planning and managing projects including scope of work, schedules, costs and completion dates.
- Preparing prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing. Prepare and execute test plans.
- Working with cross functional teams to drive projects to completion.
- Creating part drawings, Material BOMs, Engineering Change Notices as they relate to product development, improvements and/or cost reductions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 2-5 years' experience in new Product Development Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of Creo or similar 3d modelling software
- Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and sheet metal product design and concept testing
- Hands-on prototyping experience
- Strong creative and technical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Control Panel / Switchboard design experience including bus bar designs
- Electrical schematics understanding
- Masters Mechanical Engineering (MSME)
