Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software (Solidworks).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, and project management.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven internship/job experience in mechanical design, development, and analysis (1-2yrs).
- Proficiency with CAD tools from previous internships/jobs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with machining/hand tools A PLUS!
