About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, integration, and development of advanced air vehicle platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative aerospace solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical design, aircraft integration, and manufacturing processes, with a passion for developing next-generation air vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for advanced air vehicle programs.
  • Integrate electrical and mechanical subsystems into complex aerospace platforms.
  • Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Evaluate manufacturing methods and ensure designs are optimized for production.
  • Perform engineering analyses to support system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design, integration, testing, and production lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical trade studies, and engineering decision-making.
  • Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design specifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience supporting advanced air vehicle programs.
  • Experience integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems into aerospace platforms.
  • Experience designing mechanical parts using CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
    • Machining
    • Sheet Metal Fabrication
    • Composite Manufacturing
    • 3D Printing
    • Injection Molding
    • Composite Lamination
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and mechanical system design.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Experience developing aircraft subsystem layouts and performing architectural trade studies.
  • Experience evaluating vendor performance data and supporting supplier integration.
  • Competency in engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and electrical analysis.
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
