Job title : Mechanical Engineer

Client : Aerospace / Aviation / Defense Company

Duration : Full-Time

Location : Carlsbad, CA

Shift : 9/80 Schedule (Every Other Friday Off)

Description:
  • Design precision mechanical systems and assemblies.
  • Develop mechatronic and electro-mechanical products.
  • Create 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Generate technical data packages.
  • Prototype, integrate, and test hardware.
  • Develop test plans and perform validation.
  • Participate in design and product reviews.
  • Implement engineering changes.
  • Support field testing and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and project support.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' experience (or equivalent).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience designing precision mechanisms.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo preferred).
  • Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Experience with mechanical testing and integration.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Experience with mechatronic systems.
  • Electronics packaging experience.
  • Additive manufacturing knowledge.
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) experience.
