Summary: Design mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical products, equipment and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Design (Small Assemblies Modeling and Design)
  • Modeling and 2D detailing
  • Developing large assemblies
  • I-parts
  • Item Master generation (Part Numbers) and Product Structure creation (Bills of Materials)
  • (ECR) Engineering Change Requests, processing and response
  • (ECO) Engineering Change Orders, processing and response
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Contribute to mechanical engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
  • Contribute to team effort
  • Travel up to 3-5% to support sales efforts.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - as applied to Engineering Systems
  • Autodesk Inventor
  • (PDM) Product Data Management system (i.e., Lawson/M3,Business Central)
  • AutoCAD 2D
  • Knowledge of Materials, Mechanical Components and their use
  • Knowledge of Basic Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic power and motion systems
  • Mechanical/Electric drives

Abilities
  • Ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables, as well as have a high level of creative thinking

  • Ability to work within a team environment

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required
