The pay range for this role is:
68,000 - 73,000 USD per year (East Peoria, IL )

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Concept design and part modeling using Creo.
- Stress & life analysis
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Senior Engineer by completing design tasks.
- Potential for additional responsibility depending on experience and demonstrated success in the role.
- The worker will be performing entry-level duties and should have a genuine interest in this aspect of the role.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 2-4 years
- Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical Engineering - relevant (Manufacturing, Automotive)
- No 2 year degrees
- Masters must still have 2 years of experience
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Creo 3D modeling (and specifically Creo, not another modeling software)
- Reading technical drawings & prints
- Mechanical design experience
- Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA
- Experience in steel or iron casting design
- APQP knowledge
- Practical / hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
