Position Summary:
The Machinist III / Manufacturing Engineer is a highly skilled technical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through advanced machining expertise and engineering support activities. This role serves as a key resource for CNC programming, process development, machine setup optimization, fixture design/build, CAD/CAM programming, G-code programming (Haas, Fanuc), process routing creation, manufacturing troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift: 2nd 4pm to 2am (M-Thur)
Pay: $35.00-$39.00/hour based on experience

Essential Job Functions
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, models, and quality requirements.
- Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Create, verify, and optimize CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software.
- Perform or support machine setups, prove-outs, first article inspections, and production launches.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and work holding solutions.
- Provide technical support to machinists, operators, inspectors, and production leadership.
- Support quoting activities, purchasing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor machinists on programming, setups, and machining best practices.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience preferred.
- Advanced experience with CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and comprehensive understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
