Position Summary

The Machining NPI Engineer is responsible for the industrialization and introduction of new machining products into production.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new machining products and manufacturing processes.
  • Define machining sequences, operations, tooling and fixtures requirements.
  • Prepare work instructions, process documents, and tooling requirements.
  • Support CNC programming and machining process development using Mastercam and Siemens NX.
  • Provide technical support for tooling, fixtures, and machining equipment validation/qualification.
  • Support FAI and capability studies to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
  • Support completion of APQP phases and required NPI documentation.
  • Perform machining trials, iterations, process validation, and production process runs.
  • Investigate machining and process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Support shop floor personnel during new product introduction and production launch.
  • Participate in non-conforming product review and provide technical disposition support.
  • Actively participate in and initiate continuous improvement, cost-saving, Kaizen, and EHS activities.

Requirements
  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling ,EDM and turning.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, tooling designs, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and CAM software, preferably Mastercam and/or Siemens NX.
  • Up to 5 years of working experience in machining/manufacturing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good level of English and good communication skills.
