CSA Engineering Services, LLC (CSA) provides professional engineering and design services to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electric systems are developed. We provide engineering for new and existing low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems.

With the growing demand for electric power due to trends in AI and plans to "De-Carbonize the grid", there is a need to integrate more renewable generation and storage technologies into the electric grid and expand existing infrastructure to support increased electrical demand. CSA is well positioned to capitalize on these trends and we are seeking to hire an Engineering Project Manager to join our growing business.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be working directly with customers to establish required deliverables, timeline and budget for each project. Typical deliverables include design drawings and engineering reports. You may be required to revise deliverables based on customer and stakeholder comments. Attention to detail and motivation to get projects completed in a timely manner are critical to success in this position. You will work under the supervision of an Engineering Manager and be supported by project engineers, draftsman, designers, and technicians.

Assigned projects may include the following:

  • Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design.
  • Fuel Cell Design.
  • Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Design.
  • Backup/Emergency Generator Design.
  • Electrical Design for HVAC Systems.
  • Protective Relaying Design.
  • Power Systems Studies (Including Short Circuit, Coordination, Arc Flash and Grounding Studies).

It is expected that ideal candidate will bring a combination of relevant experience and desire to learn new skills to the position.

The position will be at our Brookfield, CT office. Travel to projects sites within the NYC Tri-State Area is expected approximately 2-4 days per month. Overnight travel will be limited.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 Years of Relevant Experience.
  • Ability to lead designers and coordinate with other professionals to develop design drawings and reports.
  • Four-Year Engineering Degree from ABET accredited school.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in any US State.
  • Experience with AutoCad.
  • Knowledge of Utility Standards and Electrical Code.

Expected Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000 per year. The actual starting salary will be based on the candidate's experience, technical capabilities, professional licensure, and ability to independently lead projects. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, paid holidays, and reimbursement for professional licensing and continuing education.
