Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. (KVE) was founded more than 42 years ago in Junction City, KS. Over time, this privately owned civil and geotechnical engineering firm has grown to 180+ employees working in six (6) offices in Kansas and one (1) office in Missouri. The firm provides survey, drafting, civil design, construction inspection, geotechnical services, and testing of soil, asphalt, and concrete.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have an active role in the following:
  • Completing project research
  • Assisting in the preparation of plans, contract documents, and technical specifications
  • Writing technical studies
  • Attending client meetings and discussions.
  • The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills on a variety of projects involving stormwater management, site development, public improvements, utilities, and drainage.

Qualifications
  • The successful candidate shall possess a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited degree program.
  • Have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Have 0 to 4-years of relevant experience
  • Possess the ability to collaborate with other staff members in a team setting
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
  • The candidate must also be committed to eventually become a licensed professional engineer (PE).
