Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering consulting client seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design of electrical systems for commercial and institutional building and facility projects. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems
- Develop electrical plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documents
- Apply NEC requirements and applicable building codes throughout the design process
- Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines
- Support projects from design development through construction
- Review drawings and technical documentation for accuracy and code compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable building codes
- Experience with lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage building systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
