What You'll Do
As a Civil Engineering Intern on our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) team, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project teams supporting EV charging infrastructure projects across commercial, retail, and fleet markets. Throughout the internship, you will:
- Assist with site development and civil design for EV charging infrastructure projects
- Support grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater design efforts
- Participate in site layout, permitting, and utility coordination activities
- Conduct site visits and field observations to better understand existing site conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, architectural, and structural engineers
- Assist with preparing construction documents and engineering deliverables
- Learn how civil engineering supports electric vehicle infrastructure projects from concept through construction
Software & Technical Skills You'll Learn
Interns will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard mechanical engineering software and tools, including:
