Job description

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

• Assisting Lab Director and Lab and Coordinates with Lab Set up.

• Assisting with up-keep and supply monitoring.

• Responsible following all safety guidelines and instructions.

• Monitor the Engineering Labs and Capstone area assuring that students follow all safety guidelines and instructions.

• Learn and teach how to use equipment in the shops.

• Maintain an inventory Labs.

• Completing tasks as assigned by the lab coordinator.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to set and follow a schedule.

• Must be able to Nights and Saturdays when needed.

• Must be able to comply with safety protocols (training will be provided).

• Knowledge of Solidworks preferred

Experience/Education:

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
