Job Description:

Title: CAD Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Summary

ISGF's Client is a premier entertainment company is seeking a Controls Designer to support the design and development of electrical components for large-scale entertainment and themed projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to seamlessly integrate control systems and electrical designs across various attractions and installations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provided technical support for entertainment projects, ensuring all designs met established electrical engineering drafting standards.
  • Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams.
  • Complete drawing revisions and updates based on project feedback, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with control engineers by performing observations and electrical field measurements and providing technical input for the design team.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, correct layout, and compliance with internal drafting standards, and verify the work of other designers.
  • Support technicians and project managers by providing technical drawings and clarifications when necessary.
  • Access archived project information to retrieve and analyze data for ongoing assignments.
  • Please make sure the security and confidentiality of all design documents and drawings are in your possession.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a CAD Designer in Electrical Design within the Electrical and Manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical software.
  • Education: Associate Degree (AA or AS) in Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Familiarity with electrical standards and codes
