Job description
As the Front Desk Receptionist at GOLDLEAF, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and guests. Your role will involve managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process, and providing exemplary customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with open availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and Welcoming: Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients and customers, setting a positive tone for their experience with GOLDLEAF.
Check-In Procedures: Utilize multiple computer screens to check in new patients, verify their identity, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Distribute necessary paperwork and guide patients through the check-in process.
Organizational Skills: Manage a variety of tasks simultaneously in a high-traffic environment. Prioritize responsibilities effectively to maintain smooth operations.
Attention to Detail: Accurately enter patient information and handle data collection with precision.
Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with both customers and staff, ensuring all interactions are handled with respect and efficiency.
Facility Management: Direct guests to appropriate areas, keep the waiting area clean and inviting, and monitor restrooms to ensure they are well-stocked and maintained.
Inventory Management: Oversee office supplies by managing inventory, placing orders, receiving shipments, stocking items, and distributing supplies as needed.
Additional Tasks: Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Salary
$20 - $20 USD per hourRequired Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Skills: Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, ability to handle diverse personalities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, flexible, team player with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Desired Skills
- 1+ year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
- Previous experience with POS systems
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
