As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance, especially in the hemp and wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, financial statements, and balance sheets.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and industry regulations.
Support audits and work closely with external auditors and financial institutions.
Process payroll and ensure timely payments.
Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports.
Desired Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
Experience in the hemp, cannabis, or wellness industry is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
