About the Role
As a Senior Fundraising Specialist (Senior Development Specialist), you will play a key role in advancing philanthropy across annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and entry-level major gifts. You'll partner closely with Foundation leadership to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. In addition to fundraising, you'll contribute to the operational strength of the Foundation-supporting board and committee activities, annual fund allocation processes, and community fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist development efforts in:
- Annual giving campaigns
- Corporate partnerships and sponsorships
- Entry-level major gift cultivation and solicitation
- Build meaningful relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners
- Partner with Foundation Directors and central office teams to align strategies and maximize impact
- Steward donors through thoughtful engagement and recognition activities
- Support Foundation operations, including:
- Annual allocation processes
- Board and committee meetings
- Third-party fundraising events
- Maintain accurate donor records and reporting within database systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree and/or CFRE preferred.
- Five (5) years professional experience in development, fundraising or a related area required.
- Experience or training in Microsoft Office applications required.
- Experience or training in sales preferred.
- Experience or training with donor databases such as Raisers Edge preferred.
- Experience in volunteer engagement and management preferred.
