This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems that support plant operations.The ideal candidate will have experience working in power generation, manufacturing, chemical processing, waste-to-energy, or other industrial environments.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Calibrate transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature devices, and control valves.
- Maintain motors, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, PLCs, and electrical distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot control circuits and process control systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with plant standards.
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately.
- Support plant outages and shutdown activities as needed.
- 3+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
- Experience calibrating and troubleshooting instrumentation devices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Journeyman Electrician license or technical certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights.
- Ability to work in industrial environments with heat, noise, dust, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
