- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment.
- Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, seals, and other mechanical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Assist with shutdowns, outages, and major maintenance projects.
- Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures.
- Work safely around operating equipment in a high-temperature industrial environment.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and industrial process equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and determine root causes.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
- Ability to work in hot, dusty, noisy, and outdoor environments.
