Part Time - Inventory Associate

As an Inventory Associate you’ll keep our premium product assortment organized, compliant, and beautifully merchandised so Budtenders can deliver a seamless, personalized customer experience. You’ll manage receiving, track-and-trace entry, cycle counts, merchandising, and waste/returns processes while partnering closely with retail and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability in a fast-paced, service-forward environment.

Key responsibilities:

Receive, verify and process incoming shipments against manifests and purchase orders

Enter and reconcile product data in the seed‑to‑sale system and POS; maintain accurate records

Conduct cycle counts and full inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies

Stock and merchandize the sales floor following FIFO and brand presentation standards

Manage expiration/waste procedures and prepare compliant disposal documentation

Prepare and stage new SKUs for display and ensure accurate labeling and pricing

Maintain organized back‑of‑house storage and ensure compliance with state regulations

Support store team during high traffic periods and assist with basic retail tasks as needed

Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass any required state cannabis background checks
• 1+ year retail inventory, stockroom, or warehouse experience (cannabis industry experience a plus)
• Proficiency with POS and inventory systems; comfort learning seed‑to‑sale software and retail tech
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers; basic math skills for counts and reconciliations
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and occasional holidays
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend and reach as needed
• Commitment to following state cannabis compliance, safety, and security procedures
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets, email, mobile device/tablet use)

Desired Skills

•  Experience with METRC or other seed-to-sale systems
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience
•  Familiarity with cannabis product types (flower, vapes, edibles, concentrates, topicals) and SKU management
•  Proficiency with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet tools for cycle counts and reporting
• Prior experience in a high-volume or specialty retail environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with Budtenders and store leadership
•  Interest in learning about product compliance, packaging/labeling standards, and inventory optimization best practices
