About Metalink
Metalink is a South Austin-based designer, manufacturer, supplier, and installer of quality miscellaneous metal products, including fencing, gates, handrails, carports, and light structural metal products.
We are seeking an experienced Office & Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting, administrative, and day-to-day office operations. This is ahands-on position for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented,and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.

- $55,000–$75,000 annual salary, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process weekly payroll and record company expenses.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Manage invoices, receipts, contracts, and job-related financial documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and year-end financial information.
- Work with the company's CPA on tax preparation and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate job costing and Work in Process (WIP) accounting.
- Prepare and maintain project manager and sales commission reports.
Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and manage approximately four office employees.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, customer and vendor requirements.
- Maintain and administer company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee benefit communications and work with the company's insurance carrier.
- Support company leadership and project managers with administrative needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office management experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with Peachtree accounting software preferred.
- Previous construction accounting/WIP experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, accountable, and willing to take ownership.
- Experience managing or coordinating the work of others.
