Job description
The IPM Manager will be leading our pest management program across several greenhouse facilities and lead a team of over 20+ technicians. In this managerial position, you will oversee the development and implementation of pest management strategies that align with our mission to cultivate high-quality cannabis while maintaining sustainable practices. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring plant health, developing pest control protocols, training staff on IPM practices, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless cultivation process.

$75000 - $85000 USD per yearRequired Skills
- Minimum of 21 years of age.- Proven experience in Integrated Pest Management within a cannabis cultivation environment or similar agricultural setting.
- Strong knowledge of pest biology, ecology, and control methods, including organic and sustainable practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess pest issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to pest management activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with state regulations and compliance related to pest management in cannabis cultivation.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, plant science, entomology, or a related field.- Previous experience in a managerial role within the cannabis industry.
- Certification in pest management or related fields.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to track pest management effectiveness.
- Knowledge of organic farming practices and sustainable agriculture principles.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
