L.J. Rogers is hiring Team CDL-A Drivers for long-haul OTR freight to California and Washington. Family-owned and operated since 1986, we’re responsive, honest, and straightforward, and we treat every driver like family. Our teams typically run 5,000–6,000 miles per week, and we work hard to keep you moving and maximize your earning potential.

What the Job Looks Like
- 5,000–6,000 miles per week, depending on freight availability and operational conditions
- Long-haul freight running directly to California and Washington
- Positioning loads from Texas, Tennessee, and Kentucky to set teams up for westbound runs
- Teams may run several shorter loads before being dispatched west to keep weekly miles high
- California-to-Washington freight available to add extra miles
- When long-haul freight is unavailable, teams may run multiple Solo OTR-style runs to keep weekly mileage around 5,000–5,500
- No set weekly schedule – freight-driven operation
Freight Details
- Produce loads out of California may require 3–4 pickups to complete a full load
- Apple loads out of Washington may require 2–3 pickups to complete a full load
Home Time & Resets
- Turn at the yard and keep running, or go home for a 34-hour reset
- Rolling resets available depending on hours and scheduling
Job Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and safe driving history
