Job description
Description:
- Moves trailers in a safe and accurate manner.
- Operates various tractor-trailer combinations within the yard and between company holdings.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Must work safely and insure all safety requirements are met.
- Able to operate computer / tablet for work assignments.
- Performs safety inspections of the yard horse and trailer according to DOT regulations.

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirement.
- Must have valid CDL-A
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of switcher and road tractor.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach.
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and write English at a proficient level
