Porter (Custodian)

Position Summary:

The Facilities Porter provides janitorial and maintenance services to Stash Ventures LLC facilities. This position ensures that all quality, safety, and operational standards are achieved in support of overall company goals. Cleaning and sanitizing for grow rooms, pre and post-harvest deep clean, including all back and front of house, in support of the Cannabis Cultivation facility

Essential Responsibilities:

• Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with all clients, contractors, and coworkers.
• Cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, facilities, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas in accordance with Company specifications.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or other related appliances.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas.
• Mulching and composting
• Maintain required documentation, including checklists.
• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to all guests and Team Members.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other job aids, including for the use of chemicals and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Demonstrates high attention to detail to increase productivity.
• Excellent organization skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment preferred
• Must be able to climb a ladder and complete required job duties at heights
• Ability to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on a regular basis daily
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse
