With a dialed-in grow operation and a bold new brand refresh, we're ready to dominate the MD/DC market- and have a little fun while we're at it.

Your role in caring for our company:

  • Maintain safety standards to ensure safe operations in all associated areas.
  • Maintain MCA compliance and District Cannabis production standards on the floor; escalate compliance concerns to the Cultivation Manager.
  • Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP), operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.

  • Motivate staff to ensure production goals are met.
  • Monitor team's quality, efficiency, consistency, output, and performance and report on individual progress.
  • Ensure work orders for damaged equipment are placed in a timely manner.
  • Report problems, accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment trouble to management.

Staffing & Station Coverage:

  • Ensure daily and weekly headcount for the cultivation and drench departments meets the weekly schedule and production plan.
  • Use the daily task plan drafted by the Cultivation Manager to build daily station assignments so every cultivation station and drench station is filled.
  • Respond to call-outs, absences, and shifting priorities by reallocating team members to keep critical stations covered.
  • Maintain a cross-training matrix and develop team members across multiple stations to reduce coverage gaps.
  • Train new hires on station SOPs and confirm competency before independent assignment.

Process Specific Responsibilities

  • Cultivation: Oversee all cultivation processes to ensure the team follows SOPs including cloning, clone care, transplanting, defoliation, tagging, data logs and sanitary targets are met.
  • Drench: Oversee plant movements during drench applications to ensure SOPs are being followed accurately, including both manual and automated drench applications. Ensure defoliation is completed accurately and to standards and plants are correctly loaded and connected back to irrigation following the day's workflow.
  • Report any plant health abnormalities to Director of Cultivation immediately after observations are made.
  • Maintain accurate sensor tracking for irrigation strategy.
  • Maintain irrigation equipment, including routine upkeep, and perform minor corrective repair work.
  • Maintain the cultivation environment by ensuring workspaces are cleaned and sanitized daily.
  • Place materials orders in a timely manner to ensure teams have adequate supplies.
