We are seeking a dedicated child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our team and provide exceptional mental health care to the young people and families in our community. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule in an office setting, allowing you to make a significant impact while maintaining personal and professional equilibrium.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents, developing and implementing developmentally appropriate treatment plans, and providing medication management. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents to diagnose mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families/caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications for pediatric patients, adjusting as necessary.
- Partner with families, pediatricians, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care and support continuity across settings.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to our dedicated team of mental health professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (General Psychiatry board certification preferred).
- Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain) and DEA registration.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage children, adolescents, and their families.
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.
