How You Will Thrive (Key Responsibilities)
- Patrol parking areas and the garage to maintain a secure environment and report unusual activity to Security via two-way radio.
- Provide vehicle escorts, help with jump-starts, assist with flat tires, and warmly respond to all requests for assistance from staff and visitors.
- Maintain smooth traffic flow, enforce parking regulations, and accurately document violations or parking activities using Excel.
- Address parking lot incidents, conduct initial investigations, and collaborate with Law Enforcement when necessary.
- Handle essential courier services (such as bank deposits or court appearances) and assist with seasonal lot maintenance like snow removal or setting up barriers.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Credentials: Valid Driver's License Required; NYS Security License is a plus, but not required.
- Experience: Background in security or parking enforcement is preferred, but we will train the right person.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills with a helpful, friendly attitude.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all types of Upstate New York weather.
