  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with manufacturing accounting, including inventory, raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and cost of goods sold.
  • Analyze inventory and manufacturing variances and work with operations to understand and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support standard cost updates, production costing, and other cost accounting activities as applicable.

  • Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation schedules and capital expenditure accounting.
  • Utilize the company's ERP system to record, analyze, and report financial information.
  • Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the ERP and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for the finance and leadership teams.
  • Support annual audits, tax requests, and other external reporting requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Identify process improvements and help develop more efficient accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments to resolve accounting and financial issues.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-intensive environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or a similar platform.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.

  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
