This role is responsible for directing marketing strategy, managing vendor and partner relationships, coordinating events, and leading all content creation efforts that align with GOLDLEAF’s mission and aesthetic.

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping how GOLDLEAF communicates with its customers and community — driving engagement, awareness, and loyalty through innovative campaigns, storytelling, and visual branding.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee all marketing, advertising, and brand communication initiatives across digital and in-store channels.
  • Manage the internal marketing team and external creative partners, ensuring all deliverables align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns that support product launches, promotions, and company initiatives.
  • Lead content strategy across all platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and voice that reflect GOLDLEAF’s values and professionalism.
  • Oversee creation of visual and written content for social media, website, email, print, and digital platforms.
  • Direct and approve content calendars, copywriting, and creative design for all marketing channels.
  • Oversee in-house or contracted photography and videography to ensure content quality, brand alignment, and storytelling consistency.
  • Ensure all marketing assets are compliant with Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) advertising regulations.
  • Maintain the GOLDLEAF visual identity and ensure cohesive representation across all materials, packaging, and signage.
  • Serve as the primary contact for marketing vendors, media partners, and creative collaborators.
  • Negotiate and manage marketing partnerships, sponsorships, and community collaborations.
  • Oversee vendor coordination for product promotions, events, and marketing co-ops.
  • Lead planning and execution of all marketing and community events, including vendor days, patient appreciation events, and public relations opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Retail teams to ensure flawless event setup, staffing, and brand representation.
  • Oversee creation of promotional materials, displays, and social content to support events and in-store campaigns.
  • Develop and manage annual marketing plans, budgets, and campaign calendars.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, social media engagement, and customer feedback to measure effectiveness and guide future initiatives.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through emerging platforms, community partnerships, and brand collaborations.
