We’re seeking a Director of Facilities Management to lead all aspects of plant operations, environmental services, housekeeping, and laundry services at our Philadelphia site. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in operational excellence, regulatory readiness, and building high-performing teams. What You’ll Do as Director of Facilities Management (Site-Based):Operations & Department Leadership Provide full leadership and oversight of Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Environmental Services departments Ensure cleanliness, infection control support, and facility functionality across all areas Establish and monitor department standards, workflows, and performance expectations Life Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, DOH, and all regulatory standards Lead fire safety programs, emergency preparedness planning, and Safety Committee initiatives Oversee environmental rounds, audits, and annual inspections Team Leadership Recruit, hire, train, and develop teams across multiple departments (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry)Manage performance, scheduling, and staffing levels to ensure operational consistency Lead training on life safety systems, emergency procedures, and environmental standards Systems, Infrastructure & Projects Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and physical plant systems Manage preventive maintenance programs and repairs Support facility upgrades, capital projects, and operational improvements Financial & Administrative Oversight Manage department budgets, purchasing, and payroll approval across all reporting areas Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards What You Bring as Director of Facilities Management (Site-Based): Experience:3+ years in facilities, plant operations, or building systems (healthcare preferred)2+ years of leadership experience overseeing multi-function teams (e.g., maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, EVS)Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Knowledge of Life Safety Codes, NFPA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance Leadership Skills:Proven ability to lead diverse operational teams and drive accountability Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license required WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
