Job description
Supply Chain Process Excellence & S&OP Manager
- Direct Hire/Perm
- LOCATION - Work is ONSITE in Memphis, TN ( Sorry, no remote/hybrid work options are available)
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Process Excellence & S&OP Lead to drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement across our North American supply chain. This role will serve as the organization's subject matter expert for end-to-end supply chain processes, leading initiatives that improve planning effectiveness, inventory performance, network efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.
Reporting into supply chain leadership, this individual will establish standardized processes, strengthen S&OP capabilities, optimize inventory and distribution networks, and implement KPI-driven performance management to support growth, customer service, and cost optimization objectives. Many of the targets/goals for this role, include:
- Improve forecast accuracy and planning alignment.
- Standardize and scale supply chain processes.
- Reduce inventory and working capital while maintaining service levels.
- Enhance supply chain network efficiency and cost performance.
- Establish transparent KPI governance and accountability.
- Build organizational capability that drives long-term operational excellence.

Many of the DAY TO DAY duties include:
- Define, document, and govern end-to-end supply chain processes across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and S&OP.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase process reliability.
- Champion process standardization across business units and operational sites.
- Own S&OP Governance & Planning Excellence
- Lead the design and execution of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Establish planning standards, meeting cadence, decision-making frameworks, and accountability measures.
- Facilitate alignment among commercial, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
- Leverage forecasting, scenario modeling, and analytics to improve decision quality and business outcomes.
- Optimize Inventory & Supply Chain Performance
- Monitor performance metrics including inventory turns, days inventory on hand (DII), stockouts, OTIF, and excess/obsolete inventory.
- Partner with planning and procurement teams to continuously improve inventory health and working capital performance.

Qualified professionals with AS MUCH of the following listed below, are asked to apply:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Operations Excellence, S&OP, Business Process Management, or Supply Chain Transformation.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end supply chain process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of:
- S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Supply Chain Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Network Design & Logistics
- KPI Governance & Performance Management
- ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent)
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Priority consideration will be given to those with the following as well:
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Experience with advanced planning systems and supply chain analytics tools
- Experience leading multi-site or regional supply chain transformation programs
