Job description
Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Painesville, OH, 44077
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality performance, lead corrective actions, support supplier development initiatives, and ensure our supply chain consistently meets the highest aerospace standards
What You Will Be Doing
- Qualify, audit, and develop suppliers to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and aerospace quality standards.
- Lead supplier quality investigations, corrective actions (SCARs), and root cause analysis to resolve nonconformances and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to support new product introductions, supplier transitions, and First Article Inspection (AS9102) activities.
- Analyze supplier quality data, support MRB and containment activities, and drive process improvements that enhance supplier capability and reduce defects.
What You Need for This Position
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline, and/or experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments, with knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and industry standards.
- Proven ability to conduct supplier audits, manage corrective actions, and utilize root cause methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T, with experience supporting supplier quality and manufacturing processes
