Job description
A highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on institutional, educational, civic, and commercial construction projects throughout Southern California. With more than 80 years of history, this builder has established a reputation for quality, integrity, and delivering complex projects that serve communities for generations.

What You'll Do
- Lead all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Drive project schedules, safety, quality, and production goals
- Conduct subcontractor meetings and manage site logistics
- Review plans, specifications, and project schedules
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain project documentation and oversee punch list completion
- Foster a positive and professional jobsite culture
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Experience managing projects in one or more of the following sectors:
- K-12 Education
- Higher Education
- Civic/Municipal
- Institutional
- Commercial Construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain aggressive schedules
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
Preferred Experience
- Ground-up public works projects
- Campus construction and modernization projects
- Civic facilities
- Design-build delivery
- Renovations in occupied environments
- California public-sector construction experience
