We are looking for a hands-on engineer who lives at the intersection of electrical engineering, embedded systems, battery technology, and Android power optimization.

This is not a pure software role.

We're looking for someone who can debug real-world power issues using lab equipment, analyze battery behavior, understand schematics, and connect electrical measurements to firmware, Linux, and Android system behavior.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with Qualcomm-based embedded platforms
  • Perform power measurements using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, current probes, Monsoon, NI DAQ, and related equipment
  • Debug issues across hardware, PMICs, firmware, Linux, drivers, and Android
  • Build power models, validate battery-life estimates, and optimize performance-per-watt
  • Partner with hardware, firmware, system software, and validation teams to solve complex platform issues

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of embedded systems experience
  • Strong electrical engineering test and debug background
  • Experience with power characterization, battery analysis, and thermal investigations
  • Deep understanding of Qualcomm SoCs and PMIC architecture
  • Embedded Linux experience
  • Android power management experience
  • Ability to root-cause issues across hardware and software boundaries
  • Strong C/C++ skills preferred
  • Root-cause analysis and data-driven troubleshooting

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and overall compensation package
  • Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401 (K) with generous company match
