Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Salary: $130K-$160K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background to lead medium-to-large scale projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role is focused on delivering projects on time, on budget and to required quality and safety standards while managing client relationships, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules and subcontractors

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of commercial construction projects (preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout) and ensure successful delivery against scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and cash flow forecasts; track progress and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; maintain strong client relationships, provide regular project reporting and address issues proactively to preserve client satisfaction.
• Manage subcontractor selection, negotiation, contracts and performance; oversee procurement of materials and long-lead items.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive project management experience with a focus on Commercial construction and a proven track record as a Senior Project Manager.
• Demonstrated experience managing Ground-Up and Design-Build projects
• Projects typically range in the $15M-$50M range
• Experience across one or more market sectors: Industrial, Distribution Center, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Cold Storage, Retail, Mixed-Use, Multifamily/Multi-Family/Apartments, Podium, Residential, Hospitality/Hotel/Restaurant, Office, Healthcare/Hospital, Senior Living.
• Strong financial acumen: budget management, cost control, forecasting and contract administration experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, subcontractors and procurement for medium to large commercial projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with owners, architects, engineers and municipal authorities.
