Senior Engineering Manager
Location: Fully Remote, U.S.
Compensation: $200K to $250K + Equity
We're working with a fast-growing B2B fintech platform helping wealth management firms connect, orchestrate, and synchronize data across their technology stack.
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a core product engineering team responsible for user workflows and a data orchestration platform. You'll own engineering execution, team development, hiring, and delivery while partnering closely with Product and senior technical leaders.
What You'll Own
- Hire, coach, and develop a growing engineering team
- Own project scoping, roadmap execution, milestones, and delivery
- Partner closely with Product and Design on prioritization and sequencing
- Work with Staff Engineers and Tech Leads on complex technical initiatives
- Own incident response, on-call processes, and system reliability
- Improve engineering velocity through better processes, tooling, and automation
What You Need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years as a hands-on individual contributor engineer
- 5+ years managing software engineering teams
- Must have experience at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup
- Strong player-coach leadership style
- Experience hiring, developing, and scaling engineering teams
- Strong Product/Engineering partnership and execution experience
Strong Plus
- Experience scaling engineering teams toward 20 to 30+ engineers
- Enterprise B2B SaaS experience
- APIs and third-party integrations
- Fintech APIs such as Plaid or Stripe
- Data-intensive or data orchestration platforms
- 0-to-1 product development
- AI models, prompting, and developer tools
- Go, PostgreSQL, AWS, messaging, gRPC, Redis, Terraform, React, or Node.js
